A warm, welcoming listed cottage, built in 1741. A secluded location within the heart of old Ambleside, the cottage offers a rare combination of peace and proximity to the amenities of the village (shops, restaurants, pubs and a cinema are all just a few minutes walk away).
Self Catering Holiday Accommodation
North Syke is a very pretty, cosy, traditional Lakeland stone cottage, with an open fire in the living room and oak beams in most rooms. There is a small garden full of roses and lilies, with table and chairs for al fresco dining or relaxing after a hard day on the hills (or in the shops!). It also provides a high level of modern convenience, with all the basic gadgets available. A free parking permit is available for the nearby car park. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
